The idea is simple: find an old picture and take it back to the place where it was originally shot, hold up the picture and take a picture of that picture. Easy! You can then submit the picture to Dear Photograph and they may publish it on their website. I have just submitted my attempt; fingers crossed it is published. It wasn't quite as easy as it looks, but I had fun trying to get the shot.
The original picture (my Grandma holding my Mum) was taken by my Grandad in 1969 in front of the Liver Buildings in Liverpool.

This is such a stunning photograph. The idea is so clever I have never seen anything like this before. I think it looks most impressive with the black and white photo in front of the colour background as then you can really see the technique. Inspiring photo Laura.
